About the President and Founder  Josh Twigg is originally from Western Canada.  Throughout his life Josh has had the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world. As he witnessed the growing world economy brought about by globalization, he began to study international taxation and foreign investment law.  Josh developed a passion for international real estate investment and the excellent opportunities it provided clients for both wealth management and lifestyle. After researching international real estate trends he became convinced that resort communities in emerging markets were hidden gems. One such area was in the Mexican Caribbean and known as the Mayan Riviera.  Josh knew that this was one of the areas that foreign investors needed to be educated about when considering a land acquisition, a retirement home or a second home in a warmer climate. After a highly successful sales career as a realtor, Josh accepted the position of International Sales and Marketing Director of a large real estate firm in the Mexican Caribbean where he continued to gain knowledge and experience in a broader capacity.  It was out of his desire to continue to broaden the scope of his approach to resort real estate investment that Joshua Group International was born. Josh and his wife, Pamela, have a home in Playa del Carmen, Mexico as well as in Western Canada where they work together with the Joshua Group International sales team, not only in development and sales, but also in promotion through on-line and entertainment media, holding seminars, attending expositions and accepting speaking engagements. Josh's dynamic personality, intuition and integrity combined with his knowledge as well as his ability to educate  and to advise developers and investors, has gained him much respect in the industry.
